MI6 Holding is an intelligence-driven holding company that builds, acquires, operates, and grows businesses through technology, operational excellence, and long-term ownership.
We own businesses directly and indefinitely. There is no fund, no LP base, and no time horizon to optimise against. We measure success in the durability and quality of the companies we own.
Origin of the name
Mr. Bond.
The name MI6 originates with the founder, Martin Bonde. Through years of international travel — particularly in Eastern Europe and Asia — the surname Bonde proved difficult for many counterparts to pronounce. They settled on Mr. Bond. James Bond, of course, works for MI6 — the United Kingdom’s Secret Intelligence Service — and the founder leaned into that lineage when naming the holding company.
We took the intelligence, not the iconography. The reference is to a focused, disciplined organisation built on analysis, precision, and discretion — not to tuxedos, crosshairs, or missions in pixels. The wink lives in this paragraph; the visual identity stays Scandinavian and restrained.
